At First, we desire for you to have a sense of belonging whenever you first meet a church member or when you take that first step through our doors. Once you decide that First Baptist is where God is calling you to worship and serve, we invite you to make a commitment to be a part of our spiritual community through one of these methods of membership...WHY BE A MEMBER

PROFESSION OF FAITH: I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of God's forgiveness. I have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior and am placing my faith in Him to give me eternal life.

BAPTISM: I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and desire to be baptized as a public symbol of my faith and union with this church.

STATEMENT: I am a Christian and have been baptized. I am not currently a member of another church and desire to be a member of this church.

TRANSFER OF LETTER: I am a member of another Baptist church, and desire to transfer my membership to this church.

WATCH-CARE: Students or other individuals who find themselves in the area on a temporary basis, and choose not to remove their membership from another Baptist Church, may request Watch-Care membership. Watch-Care members have all rights and privileges of church membership except for voting at church conferences.
