First Students Disciple Now Weekend
to Apr 22

First Students Disciple Now Weekend

If we look around us today at our culture, there is more division than there is unity. Some division is trivial. Some is life changing. And yet, into this landscape, the Gospel speaks a profound truth: in Christ, we are united. We are together.

Disciple Now is a weekend event where students spend time in large group and small group Bible Study. This year our theme is, TOGETHER: Living In Christ-Centered Community. Through the weekend students will worship, pray, and fellowship together; as they learn to have community in Christ.

For more information about DNow, please contact Josh in the Student Ministry Office. Disciple Now is April 20th-22nd and the cost is $50. Please register by following the link below.

Saturday, December 9

10am - 2pm

Purchase tickets at the women’s ministry table during November

Home for the Holidays is a special time for women that includes a Panera-catered brunch, program, and shopping! We’ll fellowship and eat together around  beautifully decorated tables. The program that follows will include Christmas worship songs led by some of our own women at First, and a Christmas message by speaker Darla Baerg. After that, there will be a time of shopping (12-2) with area vendors at their booths in the fellowship hall.

There will be great food, friends, laughter, shopping, door prizes, encouragement, challenge, and worship. We hope to see you there, and bring some friends!

If you’re interested in hosting a table, please contact Carlin Whittington or Teri Thompson (link to emails).

For vendor info and applications, contact Melissa Melnyk or Gail Lewis (link to emails).
