Welcome

Our missions opportunities at FBC College Station allow individuals and groups to fulfill the Great Commission in a variety of ways.  You can partner with the church in local missions, give financially to support church plants, or help serve and disciple growing communities throughout our nation and internationally. We encourage you to look further into the various missions opportunities and prayerfully consider how you can join the movement for the Kingdom.

South Texas Mission

Lasara is located in the valley of Texas, close to the Mexican border.  FBC College Station has partnered with local churches and community members in Lasara, Texas, for over a decade to bring hope and the gospel to its people.  Every July, FBC and other churches from the BCS area partner to rebuild the community of Lasara, share the Word of God with kids and adults, and open doors for the community to seek a relationship with local churches.

Church Partnership

FBC College Station currently supports two growing church plants, Cowboy Fellowship of Aggieland and Ekklesia Seattle.  Cowboy Fellowship reaches out to the BCS area in a down-to-earth way, meeting the needs of people often uncomfortable in a traditional church setting.  Ekklesia Seattle is gathering and discipling members in an urban Washington area saturated very little with the gospel.  Our members have the opportunity to support the missions of these churches in a variety of ways: give financial contributions, join short-term teams to help evangelize and mobilize, sign up for prayer calendars and write notes of encouragement.

Local Missions

We believe that the church needs to be active and serving in the community she is a part of. FBC is full of opportunities for you to serve locally as the body of Christ. You can serve at our Food Pantry Monday nights or Tuesday mornings. You can serve on one-time or long term teams with ministries such as Emmanuel Lighthouse Missions, The Bridge Ministries, or Jesus Said Love. You can build relationships with international women through our Discovery Program. There are many more ways to connect here in town; simply ask our missions ministry team if you are interested.

International Missions

We seek to go into all the world, just as w3e have been commanded by Christ. When we travel internationally, we seek to support missionaries and missions organizations in their endeavors of sharing the gospel. FBC has joined in the work of multiple international missions opportunities, and we encourage our members to consider joining the mission. You can travel with short-term teams, such as those who traveled to Peru and Chile with Christ for the Cities. You can give contributions to help our long-term missionaries overseas. You can also lead teams internationally with the help of our missions mobilization team.
