 There are many reasons why people volunteer. Here are a few of them:
To be a part of a team
To help others
To make new friends
To keep busy
To be needed
To make a difference
While you might relate to one of the above reasons, Followers of Jesus
Christ are called to serve God and each other. By doing so we fulfill God's
calling and our purposes as Christians.
"God has given gifts to each of you from his
great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity
can flow through you." -1 Peter 4:10
