Day 4 Read: Psalm 32:5
I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
Reflect: Have you ever considered that sins from long ago might be inhibiting your prayer life now? What should you do about that now? What role are we meant to play in each other’s lives in terms of helping each other repent? How can we help one another assume this posture of repentance?
Pray: Ask God to give you a renewed sensitivity to sin and your need for repentance. Ask Him to give discerning eyes to other believers who love you so that they might lovingly call attention to your sins and point you to a renewed passion for obedience to Christ.
